1). Arnab Ranjan Goswami

The top man in this list is Arnab Goswami who headed the Times Now Channel as the editor-in-chief and a news anchor. He then went on to form his own venture called Republic TV leaving the monthly salary of 1 crore in November 2016 and launched the same in May 2017 partnering with Rajeev Chandrasekhar. Currently, he owns more than earlier as he is the managing director of Republic TV.

2). Rajdeep Sardesai

The other big name in this world is Rajdeep Sardesai who has worked with several groups starting with NDTV. He then went on to found his own channel in collaboration with CNN called IBN, which further expanded into Hindi and Marathi as well. However, he resigned in 2017 as the stakes of his company were procured by a rival group and later joined India Today group working as chief editor. He earns 80 lakhs on a monthly basis thus getting 10 crores per annum.

3). Barkha Dutt

 

The next name in this list is of Barkha Dutt who started her career from NDTV and rose to become the Chief Editor as well. She has bagged the prestigious award from the Government of India called Padma Shri along with getting another highest civilian honor for her work. She worked with NDTV channel for 21 years and left the channel in 2017 and now works with Tiranga TV earning 30 lakhs per month.

4). Sudhir Chaudhary

He remains the most controversial anchor on the small screen. He heads the Hindi News of Zee News working as the editor-in-chief of the said channel.  He is popular anchoring the daily TV show called Daily News & Analysis (DNA). While talking about his salary, he earns 25 lakhs per month, which is around 3 crores a year.

5). Ravish Kumar

He is among the popular TV journalists and anchors in the small screen industry. He deals with a wide range of issues on his daily TV show at NDTV. He is the senior executive in the NDTV India group and is considered to be among the most revered anchors and journalists in India. He recently has received the prestigious Magsaysay Award for his integrity in news reporting and anchoring. Talking about his salary, he earns around 18 lakhs per month which is around 2 to 3 crores per annum.
