Diana was in her wedding gown having 10,000 pearls and had a 25-foot train. it was unfortunate that the wedding did not last long as both the partners cheated on each other.

The next fat wedding that cost huge money was of Vanisha and Amit Bhat costing around $66 million. Vanisha the daughter of Lakshmi Mittal was one of the richest people across the globe. Thus her wedding remained the most expensive one on earth. It was held in the 17th century Chateau Veaux le Vicomte close to Paris in the year 2004. It invited more artists all over the world to perform for an hour followed by the display of fireworks carried out at the landmark place called Eiffel Tower. It was carried out in a regal way calling England’s future King and Queen at the venue of Westminster Abbey where the couple paraded over the London streets in a horse-drawn carriage. The couple has a son and now expecting their second child.

The next big and costly wedding is of the Footballer Wayne Rooney and Coleen MacLoughlin that incurred around $8 million. They got married in Italy in 2008 that brought more than five charted airplanes to carry their guests for the life-long event. The event was big and lavish but the couple failed to pay the bills till a magazine came to their rescue offering a 4.2 million USD deal. The other wedding that remains the most expensive one includes Chelsea and Marc that cost $5 million. The former is the daughter of the ex-US president, you can easily guess the name.
